Celebrating Our Heritage

This is part of the pattern language developed by TKWA for the Cincinnati Nature Center.

Numerous elements of past land uses exist in a scattering of historic pieces including all├ęs, roads, paths, walls, gardens, daffodils, agricultural fields, homes and barns. These remnants are only occasionally connected to current CNC activities, becoming nearly invisible to visitors.

Connect significant historical pieces to new major circulation spines and gathering places. Place prominent historical structures as points of focus or as axial terminations so that they become participants in everyday usage of the grounds.
